Working principle of plate leveling machine

The working principle of the field straightening machine is the theory of plastic tension bending straightening. The internal uneven stress of the strip is generated in the rolling and leveling process. When the stress value reaches a certain level, it will cause the plate shape to be curved or wavy. The tension straightening machine utilizes the existence of internal stress to improve the shape of the plate. Under the action of the tension applied by the tension roller group, the strip to be leveled continuously passes through multiple groups of small-diameter bending rollers arranged alternately up and down and is sharply bent. The non-uniformity of the length of each longitudinal fiber of the strip produces different degrees of plastic extension along the length direction under the combined action of stretching and bending. The stretching and bending straightening technology makes the length of each longitudinal fiber tend to be consistent. Thereby, the uneven distribution of internal stress is reduced, and the plate shape defects caused by the length difference of longitudinal fibers are eliminated.
Using a precision leveler to level the workpiece can achieve extremely high flatness, and the internal stress is also significantly reduced. The workpiece to be leveled is bent alternately between the separately driven leveling rollers to achieve workpiece leveling. The upper and lower rows of leveling rollers are staggered and installed to form a wedge-shaped section that opens in the running direction.
Large bending deformations occur at the inlet, where the material deforms until it reaches a plastic state. At exit, the workpiece is only in an elastic state and leaves the leveler with a flat surface.
The leveler can be set up quickly and easily thanks to the upper beam leveling roller frame feed system. Enter the setting values through the control panel in different regional languages. The adjustment of the upper roller frame is performed by the motor and worm gear mechanism, and the adjustment accuracy reaches 0.02mm.
High-performance positioning controls ensure instantaneous adjustment value changes. The setup of the machine tool is carried out through the teaching system, using the memory of the workpiece number. When reprocessing the same type of material, the upper roll frame automatically moves to the correct position after entering the workpiece number.
