Levelers are commonly used equipment in sheet metal processing and are mainly used to straighten sheets of various specifications. Let's take a look at the precautions when using the leveler.

1. Labor insurance products should be used and worn reasonably according to regulations. For example, when operating, you should tighten your cuffs and plackets, wear protective shoes, and wear a mask. Shoulder long hair and braids are included in your work hat, you should not wear high heels or sandals on site.

2. Before operation, conduct a comprehensive safety inspection of the equipment used, with the focus on the safety protection device, which can be used only after confirming that it is normal.

3. Before placing the leveling material, the machine should be run dry first to check whether each part is running normally, and the leveling roller bearing must be sufficiently lubricated before formal operation.

a. Add lubricating oil to the mechanical sliding and rotating parts and the reducer.

b. Manually check the sliding and rotating parts until they are flexible and free from jamming.

c. Clean up all the sundries on the work, and smooth the welds on the workpiece that may be in contact with the pressure roller and the guide roller.

d. Check whether the electrical appliances, cables, etc. are normal

4. Before operating the equipment, the operator must check whether the emergency stop button of the equipment bed and button station is intact and whether it is functioning normally. If a problem is found, it must be repaired by maintenance personnel in time. When the equipment is working, if an obstacle occurs, it should be stopped immediately and the fault should be eliminated.

5. Be sure to place the work piece steadily, make sure the position is correct, and then start the leveling machine. For example, when leveling narrow steel, it should be placed in the center of the leveler.

6. When the operator is operating, the distance between the hand and the front end of the drive roller shall not be less than 300 mm. For large workpieces, the operator cannot stand on the workpiece when it is running. When the equipment is working, no one can stand on the side of the section steel exit. Avoid getting your hands and clothes caught in the roller table of the leveling machine after starting the machine.

7. The equipment must be in normal operation and well lubricated. Check all parts and electrical components frequently to keep the equipment clean. When the equipment is working, never start the lifting motor.

8. Obey one person's command during operation, and the operators on both sides of the workpiece must be in close contact when the workpiece is turned or moved forward and backward, and the actions are consistent.

9. The reduction applied to different metals and sheets of different thicknesses should be different. When leveling different metal sheets, the reduction must be adjusted once. The amount of reduction should be the largest at the feeding end and the smallest at the discharging end. The upper and lower rows of rollers are not allowed to be used in parallel. For the leveling of a batch of materials, the adjustment of the reduction can be read out by the digital display ruler.

10. After the work is finished, close the switch and other valves, and clean the work site.
