How to improve the accuracy of steel plate leveler

The steel plate leveler is an important equipment on the uncoiling line. The number of shear strokes of the steel plate leveler determines the productivity of the uncoiling line to a large extent.

 

The steel plate leveler in the uncoiling line is generally different from the ordinary steel plate leveler. This is because the uncoiling line has the following special requirements for the steel plate leveler.

 

1. High productivity. For the uncoiling line with a thickness of 3mm, for a sheet with a cut-to-length length of 2000mm, it is required to cut 30 to 35 sheets per minute. For sheets with a cut-to-length length of less than 500mm, it is required to cut 80 sheets per minute. Such a high productivity is unsatisfactory for general-purpose shears.

 

2. Full load. Many users of uncoiling lines use 2-3 shifts, and the steel plate leveler has to cut 10,000 to 20,000 times a day. General-purpose steel leveler cannot be used under such load.

 


3. High reliability. If the steel plate leveler in the decoiling line is shut down, the entire decoiling line will be shut down. For a user like an automobile factory, the shutdown of one decoiling line will also cause the shutdown of several stamping lines. Therefore, it is required that the failure rate of the steel plate leveler in the uncoiling line is as low as possible, and the failure diagnosis and troubleshooting are relatively easy.

 

4. Diversity of coil material. The general-purpose steel plate leveler uses ordinary carbon steel to determine the shearing force, and the coil material is not only low-strength galvanized steel, tinplate, color-coated steel, aluminum, but also high-strength stainless steel, weather-resistant steel, acid Wash the board and so on.

 

The coils used in the production of cars include: uncoated cold-rolled sheet, hot-rolled pickled sheet, high-strength cold-rolled sheet, high-strength galvanized sheet, single and double-sided electrolyte coated sheet, single and double-sided hot-dip galvanized sheet, aluminum sheet, etc. . Users of uncoiling lines often cannot mention the mechanical properties of processed materials, so when designing and selecting steel plate levelers, the applicable scope of the machine must be considered.

 


5. Special cutting method. In order to avoid scratching the surface of the sheet due to burrs when the sheets are stacked, some uncoiling lines require the direction of the burrs of the cut sheet to be upward. Therefore, the tool holder of the steel plate leveler should be cut from the bottom to the top. This steel plate leveler is called a down-cut steel plate leveler. The cut sheet material falls on the moving conveyor belt. In order to avoid skew, the shape of the blade on the knife holder is required to be a herringbone shape, which is especially necessary for sheets with a shorter cut-to-length length.

 

In summary, ordinary steel plate levelers cannot meet the requirements of uncoiling lines, and special steel plate levelers must be designed.
